To tease and launch the new DroidX, a phone with massive video capabilities and HD screen, a piece of video content was created. Embedded in the content were hidden easter eggs reveling the specs and a Twitter handle: @DroidLanding. Followers of the handle were soon given GPS coordinates where phones were hidden throughout the country. The hunt saw packs of followers from across the country, as well as MeetUp groups, and national roads trips. All this buzz helped the DroidX become the first viable iPhone rival.
